Visit a fabric store to find the ideal sewing pattern for your suit and the perfect fabric for you. You'll follow a pre-made pattern, but you can custom design it with color choices and small detailing.

Look closely at the material, making sure there are no defects and that you have the right amount of stretch according to your pattern. Ask a sales person for help if you are unsure.

Find the fabric used for lining swimsuits--it's generally found right next to swimsuit fabric. Make sure the lining is close to the color of your suit and has the same stretch as the material you chose for your suit.
