How to Make a Daisy Ring
A daisy ring is a beaded ring with a daisy placed in the middle. Make daisy rings for any finger size and in any color. The rings work well as party favors or even as napkin rings if made large enough. Read on to learn more.
Things You'll Need:
1 bag of Dalicia beads
Beading thread
Size 10 beading needle
Scissors
1 medium, flat-backed accent bead
20 dagger beads
Step
1
Measure and cut two arm lengths of thread. Thread the beading needle.
Step
2
Slide one Dalicia bead onto thread, 8 1/2-inches from the end. Tie the bead off to make a stopper bead. This gives you a long strip of thread with a bead tied 8 inches from the end.
Step
3
Add enough Dalicia beads to the longer end of the thread to encircle your finger.
Step
4
Place Dalicia beads on the thread until it wraps around your finger 3 to 5 times. Tie the end of the thread to each row of beads so they are connected to each other.
Step
5
Use scissors to cut off the extra thread.
Step
6
Slide the accent bead onto the 8-inch thread until it sits tightly against the Dalicia beads. Tie the thread to the ring to hold the bead in place.
Step
7
Add the dagger beads one at a time. Thread them in circle around the accent beads. Dagger beads have one hole through one end of the bead. Add them without doubling the thread back.
Step
8
Make rows of beads around the accent beads until you run out of dagger beads. Tie the thread to the ring and cut away the excess.
